Cristiano Ronaldo Interested in a Career in Acting After Football

Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that he would be interested in pursuing a career in acting once he hangs up his boots as a footballer.

The Real Madrid superstar, 31, starred in his own documentary last year, titled simply Ronaldo, and that experience appears to have piqued his interestโ€”but only if it involves working with the right people.

"I would like to learn being surrounded by good actors because only then will I learn since it is an area I do not control because it has nothing to do with football," he toldย Sacoor Brothersย (via Goal). "Why not? It's not my goal at the moment, but I have had some invitations.ย Do not close the doors because it is an area which I like."

If Ronaldo does decide to get into acting, he will follow in the footsteps of former footballers like Vinnie Jones and Eric Cantonaย who have also pursued a second career in the performing arts.
