Sporting Gijon Made Very Sure They Weren't Next Barcelona Penalty-Trick Victim

Who knows when the next pass-penalty trick will be executed and by whom.

But Sporting Gijon made absolutely sure they weren't on the wrong end of it when they played Barcelona on Wednesday night.

Leo Messi and Luis Suarez combined for a cheeky penalty routine in Barcelona's win over Celta Vigo on Sunday, and when they won a spot-kick during Wednesday's 3-1 La Liga win, Sporting weren't going to let it happen again.

Footage has now surfaced of no fewer than five Sporting players marking Messi and Neymar as Suarez (who ultimately missed from 12 yards) stepped up to the spot.

No doubt Las Palmas will be equally on the ball if the referee points to the spot during Saturday's league encounter...
