Brendon McCullum Scores Record-Breaking 54-Ball Century in Final Test
Joe GallagherJun 2, 2018
New Zealand cricket captain Brendon McCullum compiled the most Brendon McCullum-esque of innings on Saturday as he smashed the world's fastest test hundred in his final Test.
Making his way to the middle with the Black Caps sitting precariously at 32-3, McCullum raced to 100 from 54 balls, eclipsing Viv Richards' previous record for the world's fastest Test hundred.
He was eventually dismissed for a remarkable 145 off 79 balls.
The cricket world was in awe:
The 34-year-old helped himself to another record as he guided New Zealand to 370 all out before Australia ended the first day of the second test on 57-1.
It's fair to say McCullum will be missed in his retirement...
