ARSENAL NEED TO BEAT FULHAM TO SHOW WHAT THEY'RE MADE OF!!

Today is a big day for Arsene Wenger and his young men. The challenge of an away match at Craven Cottage looms over their young yet masterful heads.

Fulham have proved themselves to be a formidible force in the premiership over the last couple of season and they have one man to thank for that and thats much travelled charasmatic Roy Hodgson. He has worked wonders since he took over from Chris Coleman. Since Jimmy Bullard and Danny Murphy's double act helped keep Fulham in the premiership, Fulham haven't looked back. Last year was their most successful in the Premiership and it didn't suprise many.

In this fixture last year Fulham beat Arsenal 1-0 with Arsenal target Brede Hangeland scoring the winning goal. It was Arsenal's first defeat of last season and certainly sent them on a downward spiral.

If Arsenal can get a result today at Craven Cottage then not only will it prove to me that Arsenal can compete for more then just 4th place this season, but it will also prove they have come a long way in the past 12 months. With the departure's of great players Toure and Adebayor Arsenal have seemed more 'in it together' and positive.

Arsenal are lacking steel throughout their side and that has led to some football fans questioning whether or not they have the tenacity to take games by the scruff of the neck, and compete in certain areas to prove they can bring the title home for the first time in half a decade.

Against Fulham today Arsenal will have to be top of their game and I for one think there will be goals in it unlike last season's fixture. If you are an Arsenal fan, today will be exciting day and 5.15pm will be an exciting time. We shall see what Arsenal really have in their locker.
