Dink and Dunk Could Lead To Slam Dunk For Mangini To Start D.A.
Alright Brownies here it is. I am calling a spade a spade. You all know me as a DA fan, and I still am. But... I am a Browns fan first, and a QB dilemma a distant second. All I really want is a Browns win. I live in Erie, PA, and constantly get heckled by Steeler fans. You all can laugh when I say this but all the Steeler fans are laughing at us for starting Quinn over DA. I tell all of them, that most fans and the coaches think Quinn has a better huddle presence, better mobility, and agility. Talk about having to eat my own words. Over the first 2 weeks Quinn has looked anything but the comments just stated. Where is the huddle presence, where is his mobility and agility while taking 9 sacks. Many blame St Clair for giving up 4 sacks. How about holding on to the football and tapping it the entire time, oh and by the way stay in a pocket for 3-5, and expect to stay upright. Why does he not scramble and make a play with his arm or legs? Kind of like the hated QB from Shitsburgh?
How does a QB with a 59% completion rate equate to no wins? Well, it's simple, he only averages 5.5 yards a completion, with a average of 183 yards a game. While trying to be fair, most of those yards came on his last drive against the Vikings second string and a sub par Bronco Defense in the first half. Quinn has shown us that he can hold down the 5th poorest QB rating by completing nearly 60% of his passes. He has 366 yards passing, 2 picks and 1 TD against a Vikings Second String.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
I just want to know where the Quinn from last year went. He looked like he had hope and promise. Now he is looking like a bust. Also, DA has to be laughing his butt off. He is making 5 Million to just sit there. One thing about Mangini's horrible decision to wait and name a starter is this... If we for any reason the Browns wanted to trade Quinn. We would get absolutely nothing. Right now in all fairness, DA gives us better options or draft picks than Quinn. Most teams are willing to handle a QB, that is willing to take a chance downfield. You could find any QB in this year's upcoming draft to throw check downs and 3-5 yard outs like Quinn does.
I blame this on Quinn being named the starter sort of. Last year, he was the back up. Last year all Quinn fans booed DA on a constant basis, hell most of Quinn's immature fans even booed DA when he was hurt. Now that showed a lot of class. Those fans are worthless losers. What kind of fan boo's their own teams injured players. In my opinion, not fans we need in Cleveland, go root for someone else. Bottom line is this. Backups have thirved. Whether it be Holcomb, Frye, Anderson or now Quinn. The backup has always had better success than the initial starter. The one thing I can give DA, that no one can take away, is he is the only Browns QB to lead the team since we have come back is to 10 wins in a season. And he did it with no mobility, kind of like Kosar used to.
Many may not want to hear this. But, if Quinn keeps going down his current path. Mangini will have no other option but to put DA in. Even Eric knows he has a job to worry about. Also I feel if, DA is named the starter, no Quinn fan can say he did not have a chance. If you choose to call it poor play call, ok I will give you that. But, Quinn is allowed to audible at the line. Is it Quinn can not read the defense, or is he to afraid to make a mistake. I tell all of you this. I would rather Quinn throw a bomb downfield for 40+ yards and have it intercepted, than throw a 3 yard pass on 3rd&9 and have to punt. Just think about it. Is Quinn worth what we lost in the draft to get him, only time will tell. So far, no way.
