Cavaliers Fans Salute Kobe Bryant with Final Standing Ovation

For Kobe Bryant, it was nothing but love during his last road trip to The Land.

The highly anticipated matchup against LeBron James, the second-to-last of its kind, would have alone been a memorable moment in the Black Mamba retirement tour. Much like previous cities, however, Cleveland felt that just wouldn't be enough.

With the game nearing its end, fans at the Q, supporters of both Cavs and Lakers, rose to salute No. 24 via emphatic ovation as he went to the bench.

James, too, showed his respect, giving the legendary player a warm embrace.

After all, greatness, even in opponents, is admired everywhere.
