On Tuesday night in Denver, Beth Bartkowski—the mother of the Vancouver Canucks' Matt Bartkowski—watched her son play against the Colorado Avalanche. The 27-year-old defenseman gave his mom reason to cheer midway through the second period by finding the back of the net to tie the game at 1-1.
