Will Ferrell Jokes That He 'Had a Hand' in Jose Mourinho's Sacking at Chelsea
Will Ferrell appeared on the Men in Blazers show earlier this week and confessed his guilt over Chelsea's sacking of Jose Mourinho earlier this season.
The comedian, who is promoting the film Zoolander 2, became a Chelsea fan after attending a match and being given a shirt and scarf, though he admits that he does like the colour blue.
In September, Ferrell joked about Mourinho's defensive tactics at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London, and three months later, the Portuguese was sacked by owner Roman Abramovich.

"I feel like I had a hand in getting Jose Mourinho fired," Ferrell said. "I made a joke at the GQ awards in London where Mourinho was receiving some sort of special award ... and I made a crack like: 'I love your style, seven men in the box, defensive soccer, keep it going.' And then next thing you know [he's fired], I'm so sorry."
Ferrell's LAFC are set to join Major League Soccer in 2018, and the 48-year-old described his management style as "cold and distant and [I'll] show up at very inopportune times and shout and berate players in the middle of games, that sort of thing".
He also fired a parting warning to Premier League challengers Arsenal, who he has predicted will lose 3-0 Leicester City on Sunday.
