The Kentucky Wildcats put together an emphatic victory Tuesday night, defeating their SEC rival Georgia Bulldogs, 82-48.

Kentucky (18-6, 8-3 SEC) has extended its home win streak to a whopping 34 games, while Georgia (13-9, 6-5 SEC) falls to 1-6 on the road this season.

Jamal Murray led Kentucky with 24 points, while Yante Maten added a double-double (16 points, 11 rebounds) for the Bulldogs.

Georgia kept the game close throughout most of the first half, trailing by six with 4:47 left in the half. That's when the wheels fell off.

The Bulldogs missed 21 field goals in a row at one point, allowing Kentucky to open up a monumental lead. Georgia finished 11-of-50 shooting, the fewest field goals from a Power Five school in a game this season. The one bright spot for the Dawgs was their free throw shooting, as the team went 23-of-27 from the line.

The Wildcats shot over 51 percent from the field (29-of-56), including a torrid 10-of-21 on three-pointers. Murray led the way, going 6-of-10 from beyong the arc.

Georgia will head to Starkville on Saturday to face Mississippi State. Kentucky will also play on Saturday—on the road against South Carolina.
