Derek Jeter and Kobe Bryant Admire Peyton Manning's Career Before Super Bowl
Thomas DuffyFeb 7, 2016
On Sunday, the NFL published a video featuring two of Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning's contemporaries from different realms of the sports world: retired New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter and soon-to-be-retired Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Kobe Bryant.
Jeter and Bryant reflected on different aspects of Manning's storied career, from his "pursuit of perfection" to his regression in recent years.
"The end, to me, is the most beautiful part of it all," Bryant said. "Because that's when you can sit back and look and appreciate every life lesson that you've had, but you take them with you."
