Super Bowl Odds 2016: Final Prop Bets List, Over/Under Advice and More

I'm unsure if you're aware, but the Super Bowl is Sunday. It's a football game. Between the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos of the National Football League. It's a pretty big deal to, well, literally everyone on the planet.

The Super Bowl sets yearly viewers records on an almost an every-year basis, and the 50th iteration is setting up to be a ratings bonanza. Not only could it be Peyton Manning's final game as an NFL quarterback, but his counterpart, Cam Newton, is the newly crowned MVP and emerging face of the sport. There couldn't have been a better combination of teams to find their way to the Bay Area for Sunday's contest.

As is the case every year, America's favorite television program comes with a smorgasbord of betting options. There are your standards like point spread (Carolina -3.5), over/under (44) and moneyline (Carolina -177). All of those are fine choices. They're probably the safest bets for the in-the-know fan.

However, they're also very boring given the amount of ridiculousness we have on the table. Do you have a vested interest in Beyonce's footwear color? What about Stephen Curry's wardrobe? Maybe a sports-politics combo meal where you bet on the Panthers and Donald Trump to win the 2016 election?

All of those things are on the table. 

With that in mind, here's a look at some of the most ridiculous props available for Sunday.

How Many Times Will "Dab" Or "Dabbing" Be Said By the Announcers During the Broadcast?

I don't see how it's possible for the under to hit here. Dabbing is ubiquitous at this point. It's not just a Newton thing. Go to YouTube right now. There are 9,123,141 videos (estimate) of grandmothers dabbing alone. Newton's gonna be dabbing after first downs and touchdowns, and he may even just dab for dabbing's sake. 

Even if Jim Nantz and Phil Simms couldn't tell the difference between a dab and a scab (and I'm sure they can), some intern in the CBS Sports offices has given them the lowdown. Dabs will be had on Super Bowl Sunday. Take the over.

Please, dear heavenly father, no. Keep that mascot 50 yards away from beloved national treasure Beyonce at all times. Perhaps make a formation to keep him from entering the building. Keep Left Shark in 2015 where he belongs.

We must give our best effort to ensure this hits the over. Like Beyonce, B-Dubs is a national treasure. Four of the five happiest days of my life happened at B-Dubs. And the fifth was the one time I told a story about going to B-Dubs. Eat wings until your stomach explodes and be a good American on this holiday.

Well, first of all, "pants" should be on here somewhere. I would bet my life savings Curry will be wearing pants to the game. On the numbers actually on the board, it's really a 50-50 proposition. If this were a regular-season game, the custom Curry jersey would be the easiest bet. It's the jersey he's worn most often when attending games, and it might hold some superstitious value.

In this case, though, I'm going with the Newton. It's his moment. Even if it's a subtle thing, wearing Newton's number is a sign of respect and support—something the savvy Curry will likely be aware of. 

What Color Will Beyonce's Footwear Be When She Comes Onstage for the Halftime Show?

Black: 3-2 (+150)
Gold/Brown: 5-2 (+250)

OK, this is about the line where props go from funny to a little creepy. But we'll roll with it anyway.

After doing extensive research into Beyonce's appearances in "Formation" and the "Hymn for the Weekend" duet with Coldplay, black feels unlikely. She's donning a ton of gold in the "Hymn for the Weekend" video, which one would assume will be her first appearance. Gold's a decent bet here, especially if she goes full Houston for her rendition of "Formation," a trap club masterpiece.

Anyway, don't bet on people's shoe colors. It's weird. But it's totally going to be gold.

Will There Be An Excessive Celebration Penalty?

For the sake of all things fun, let's hope so. I want Newton dabbing, running off the plug, re-plugging in the plug and then running off again. Sports are supposed to be fun, and Newton is one of the few athletes who realize that—or are comfortable enough with themselves to express that emotion. 

If there aren't excessive celebration penalties, we all lost. Every single one of us.
