Under Armour to Release $500 Signed Cam Newton MVP Edition Cleats

Under Armour will run a limited release of signed Cam Newton cleats following the Carolina Panthers quarterback's 2015-16 Most Valuable Player honor, which the NFL announced Saturday.

Only 50 pairs of the golden cleats with "MVP" written on the side will be sold for $500 apiece, according to the Baltimore Sun's Jeff Barker. The company will donate half of the proceeds to the Cam Newton Foundation.

There is even a chance the newly crowned MVP will wear a pair of his own cleats for warm-ups ahead of Sunday's Super Bowl 50 vs. the Denver Broncos in Santa Clara, California, per Sports Illustrated's Tim Newcomb.
