Cameron Payne didn't know what was about to hit him.

The Oklahoma City Thunder rookie fell victim to an errant pass during warm-ups for Saturday's tilt against the Golden State Warriorsย at Oracle Arena,ย turning his head just in time to see the ball before it hit his face.

It was a moment reminiscent of the timeย Cleveland's LeBron James experienced a similar mishap, taking a ball straight to the noggin during warm-ups before a January game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
