Rasheed Wallace Drives Truck to Flint, Michigan, to Deliver Water Bottles
February 5, 2016
Add Rasheed Wallace to the list of benevolent athletes chipping in to assist the residents of Flint, Michigan, during their ongoing water crisis.
The former Detroit Piston hasn't forgotten the fans who used to cheer for him, and for that reason, he drove a truck loaded with cases of water to assist the people of Flint, according to UNC Basketball.
Other Michigan-affiliated athletes, such as Detroit Lions defensive end Ziggy Ansah, have donated water to the city as well.
It's always great to see athletes use their status and resources for good. Hats off to Wallace for the generosity and his willingness to see this act of kindness through himself.
