NFL Draft 2016: Latest Order and Mock Draft Predictions Before Super Bowl Game
While the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers prepare to vie for the Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl 50, the rest of the NFL's 30 teams are focused on the offseason, including the 2016 NFL draft.
Organizations have plenty of information to sift through in terms of game film and college all-star games such as the Senior Bowl, but the draft evaluation process is nowhere near complete since the NFL combine and other workouts are yet to come.
Many players have already established themselves as likely first-round picks, though, which already has fans speculating about who their favorite teams may ultimately land.

Breaking Down Fastest Risers
Noah Spence

Great pass-rushers are at a premium in the NFL, and Eastern Kentucky outside linebacker Noah Spence may be the best the 2016 class has to offer aside from Ohio State's Joey Bosa.
The former Buckeyes standout enjoyed a strong 2015 campaign for the Colonels with 11.5 sacks and 22.5 tackles for loss; however, there were some question marks surrounding him since he did it at the FCS level.
Spence did register 7.5 sacks in his last full season at OSU, though, and he has proved so far during the postseason that he is the real deal.
The 6'3", 261-pound specimen was an absolute beast at the Senior Bowl, both during practices and the game itself.
As pointed out by Steve Palazzolo of Pro Football Focus, Spence made life miserable for quarterbacks all week long:
NFL Network's Charles Davis had the same observation and feels strongly that Spence will be a force at the next level:
According to Davis, an anonymous college football coach told him at the Senior Bowl that Spence was the ideal pass-rusher:
Spence is quickly solidifying his status as a first-round pick, so the focus is now starting to shift toward how early he may go.
Pete Prisco of CBS Sports is among those who believe he could be among the top players selected in the draft:
That may be the case, but a more realistic expectation at this juncture is that he will end up somewhere on the fringes of the top 10.
The Chicago Bears desperately need an edge-rusher to galvanize their struggling defense, and the explosive Spence could be a perfect fit.
There is always some level of risk involved with taking a player from an FCS school, but Spence started at the high FBS level, and everything he has done since the end of the 2015 campaign suggests that he is on par with the best that the 2016 draft has to offer.
Carson Wentz
Quarterbacks are very much under the microscope as they always are during the NFL draft process, but that is especially true for North Dakota State signal-caller Carson Wentz.
There has been a great deal of buzz surrounding him over the past year, and after his strong showing at the Senior Bowl, it doesn't seem as though it will go away any time soon.
Wentz enjoyed an excellent collegiate career with the FCS Bison, but players are often difficult to project from that level to the NFL. According to Davis, however, at least one NFL scout is convinced that he's the real deal:
Wentz appears to be in a battle with California's Jared Goff and Memphis' Paxton Lynch to be the first quarterback taken in April's draft. All of them seem likely to go in the first round, but the order could change in the coming months.
One thing that could give Wentz an edge is the fact that he is a dual threat thanks to his strong, accurate arm and rushing ability. Per Jon Machota of the Dallas Morning News, Wentz believes that should serve him well in the NFL:
"I just think I have a unique set of physical abilities both throwing the ball and also with my feet, being able to make plays (with my arm) and also run the ball and move the chains with my feet. I also believe that I have a pretty good mental edge with the (pro-style) system we played in at NDSU. I feel like I can understand defenses and read things pretty well.
"
Goff is the leader in the clubhouse right now as far as quarterbacks are concerned due to his fantastic production at California, but Bleacher Report's Matt Miller believes Wentz could supplant him come April:
That likely hasn't happened yet, which is why the Philadelphia Eagles appear to be a possible landing spot for Wentz at No. 13.
Sam Bradford had an inconsistent 2015 season in Philly, and it is unclear if he will be back since he is set to hit free agency.
If the Eagles come to the conclusion that Bradford isn't the answer and decide to go in another direction, Wentz is a high-upside option who may still be there when they come up on the clock.
Andrew Billings

Baylor's football program has developed into one of the best in the nation over the past few years, and the play of defensive tackle Andrew Billings contributed positively to that progress.
The 310-pound lineman was a versatile force for the Bears, as he lined up in multiple spots and excelled both against the run and the pass.
He set career bests in 2015 with 39 total tackles, 14 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks before deciding to declare for the draft one year early.
Billings has plenty of competition when it comes to landing in the first round, but as pointed out by Baylor defensive coordinator Phil Bennett, his effort is something that could set him apart, according to John Werner of the Waco Tribune.
"He's relentless," Bennett said. "He doesn't think there's a play he can't make. He plays hard and plays the game the way it's supposed to be played. He has a very high motor and finishes plays."
Several teams could use a player of that caliber, but one that especially makes sense is the Houston Texans at No. 22.
The Texans already have a dominant defensive lineman in J.J. Watt along with some talented linebackers in Whitney Mercilus, Brian Cushing and Jadeveon Clowney. They also have one of the best nose tackles over the past 10-plus years in Vince Wilfork, but he is nearing the end of his career.
Because of that, Billings makes a ton of sense for Houston. He can play both nose tackle and defensive end in the 3-4 scheme, and the Texans are likely quite familiar with him since he's an in-state product.
Quarterback is undoubtedly the Texans' biggest area of need, but until a great one comes along, continuing to build the defense with potential studs like Billings is the best course of action.
