Jamie Vardy Is Bleacher Report's Man of the Week After Double vs. Liverpool

Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy is Bleacher Report's Man of the Week after scoring twice in the Foxes' 2-0 win over Liverpool at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday.

Vardy's opening strike was particularly memorable, as he latched on to Riyad Mahrez's long ball before unleashing a sensational, dipping volley over Simon Mignolet and into the net.

The brace took Vardy to 18 Premier League goals for the season and maintains Leicester's three-point lead at the top.

Vardy narrowly beat Fraser Forster to the award after the Southampton goalkeeper made a string of excellent saves to preserve a clean sheet in the Saints' 0-0 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates.
