Mathieu Debuchy Completes Loan Move to Bordeaux

After making just seven appearances in all competitions for Arsenal this season, Mathieu Debuchy has been sent out on loan to Bordeaux, the north London club confirmed Monday.

Tom Coast of Sport Witness, citing L'Equipe, reported Debuchy was looking for increased playing time ahead of the 2016 UEFA European Championship in France this summer.

Debuchy has proven himself as a solid Premier League-quality right-back in the past, though injuries have blighted his career since joining Arsenal from Newcastle United, so it could take him some time to get up and running at Bordeaux.

He needs to gain momentum ahead of UEFA Euro 2016 and should be looking to find regular first-team football if he wishes to represent France.
