WWE Rumors: Buzz on Road to WWE Royal Rumble 2016 for Week of Jan. 29

Aaron BowerJan 29, 2016

With the fallout still being felt from WWE's Royal Rumble show, rumors are starting to circulate about what WrestleMania 32's card will look like.

This week's rumors focus mostly on injury news. WWE is contending with a depleted roster as the biggest show of the year draws near.

A Hint Towards Brock Lesnar's Plans?

WRESTLING: OCT 02 AEW Dynamite/Rampage Pittsburgh
Monday Night RAW

Those with an eye on the WWE Network will know that on March 12, there is a special show dubbed, "March to WrestleMania 32" in Toronto.

Well, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Marc Middleton of LordsofPain) noted that there is a local ad airing in the area in which Paul Heyman discusses Brock Lesnar going after The Wyatt Family.

That would firm up the heavy talk of Brock vs. Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 32, but Wrestling Observer reported that despite Heyman's promo on the ad, current plans don't have Lesnar vs. Bray Wyatt on the show.

Does that suggest WWE may be going in a different direction with what looked to be a certain feud for 'Mania?

It could be that Lesnar and Wyatt have some sort of interaction still, and that the company is just holding off giving fans Brock vs. Bray.

Either way, it's an interesting development.

Notes on Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan was again absent at a WWE pay-per-view on Sunday, as talk continues to rumble about his future with the company.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Marc Middleton of LordsofPain) reported that some members of the roster thought Bryan would have been back at Royal Rumble, especially after Bryan was cleared by concussion specialists at UCLA.

More worryingly for Bryan, Wrestling Observer reported that he has been offered non-wrestling roles within the company and that he definitely would not be cleared to return to the ring.

This is a huge blow for Bryan, who is clearly doing everything possible to get himself ready to wrestle again.

Is this the end for his career? Let's hope not, because wrestling is a much more entertaining place with Daniel Bryan on the scene.

Sheamus Latest WWE Star to be Injured?

There's more bad news for WWE in the way of injuries, this time concerning Sheamus.

The former WWE world heavyweight champion has picked up an injury of his own, joining other big names like John Cena, Seth Rollins and Randy Orton on the injury list.

However, Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com reported that the injury, which is reportedly tendinitis in his right arm, will still not be enough to force him off television.

He's been pulled from working in the ring, though, and it's unclear when he'll be back wrestling again.

Regardless of what people think of Sheamus, this is yet another huge blow for a company struggling for talent at the moment.

It may not dramatically impact WrestleMania 32 plans too much but either way but could affect the company nonetheless.
