Dexter Fowler Reportedly Agrees to Contract with Orioles

Free-agent outfielder Dexter Fowler was coveted by multiple teams, but ultimately he decided to sign with the Baltimore Orioles.

Roch Kubatko of MASN reported the Orioles and Fowler reached a three-year deal on Tuesday. Buster Olney of ESPN reported the contract is worth around $35 million.

On Feb. 17, Olney reported the deal was expected to get finished. 

On Jan. 27, Bruce Levine of CBS Chicago reported the Chicago Cubs and White Sox were highly interested in Fowler before the signing.
