Glenn Reportedly Will Want At Least $10 Million Per Year

Retaining Glenn is one of the Bills' top priorities this offseason, but it appears as though he won't return on the cheap. A source told Tyler Dunne of the Buffalo News that "Glenn's 'floor' could be $10 million per year" in contract negotiations.
Glenn Headed for Major Payday
Glenn, 26, is a prime candidate to be hit with the franchise tag, giving the Bills another year to massage the salary cap to absorb a long-term deal for the left tackle. It seems unlikely that the team will simply let him sign elsewhere, especially since the combination of him and Richie Incognito—also set to become a free agent—was excellent on the left side of the line for Buffalo this season, helping lead the league's No. 1 rushing attack.
So whether it is in Buffalo or elsewhere, one thing is for certain: Glenn will secure a big payday this offseason.
According to Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com, he's the fifth-best potential unrestricted free agent this season, behind only Denver Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller, Carolina Panthers cornerback Josh Norman, New York Jets defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson and Chicago Bears wideout Alshon Jeffery. He also graded out as Pro Football Focus' ninth-best offensive tackle this season and has been consistently solid for the Bills in his career.
If Glenn were to hit free agency, the Bills would find themselves in quite the bidding war, something the team is likely trying to avoid at all costs.
