Andy Reid Named 2016 NFL Pro Bowl Coach: Comments and Reaction
The Kansas City Chiefs' season ended Saturday in a 27-20 divisional-round loss to the New England Patriots, but head coach Andy Reid still has one game left this year after the NFL chose him to coach one of the two Pro Bowl teams, per BJ Kissel of Chiefs.com.
Reid will bring his staff and join five of his players—Travis Kelce, Marcus Peters, Justin Houston, Tamba Hali and Eric Berry—in the Jan. 31 game at Honolulu's Aloha Stadium.
Instead of an AFC vs. NFC format, Hall of Famers Jerry Rice and Michael Irvin will draft two teams regardless of conference affiliation.

Reid, who is coaching in the game for the fifth time, was chosen along with Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy because their two teams were the highest seeded not currently in the playoffs.
It's an interesting situation because Reid came under fire after the loss to the Patriots for his poor clock management at the end of the 27-20 loss. It didn't take long for Twitter users to take shots at Reid, including Wall Street Journal NFL columnist Kevin Clark:
The good news for Reid is that the contest is much more laid-back than a playoff game, and Jeff Rosen of the Kansas City Star joked the 57-year-old coach should be more than prepared for the job:
If the game comes down to the final minutes with Reid's team needing points for the win, you can be sure those watching will bring up the playoff-game mismanagement. However, Reid isn't likely going to care considering he will be spending that late-January day in Hawaii doing what he loves—regardless of the outcome.
