Notable Picks
4. Dallas Cowboys: DeForest Buckner

The Cowboys front seven fared reasonably well in 2015, especially on the edge.
According to Pro Football Focus, Demarcus Lawrence and Greg Hardy ranked among the top 30 edge defenders in the league. However, Hardy is a free agent, and the Cowboys likely won't be interested in signing up for the circus that surrounds him off the field for another season.
Perhaps 2015 second-round selection Randy Gregory will be ready to slide into that role, but Gregory was a mixed bag of results in limited duty this past season.
If the Cowboys aren't confident in Gregory's ability to take the next step, adding a productive and well-rounded lineman such as DeForest Buckner may be the smart move at No. 4.
12. New Orleans Saints: Andrew Billings

The Saints have all kinds of issues on defense, as they finished 31st in the league in both rushing and passing yards allowed.
Obviously, upgrades are needed across the board, but the smart move would be to start with the interior defensive line and work out from there.
Andrew Billings is the latest entry to the NFL draft, announcing his decision Tuesday. According to Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman, Billings drew rave reviews from opposing coaches this season:
"#Baylor DT Andrew Billings is skipping his SR year to enter NFL Draft. .. Big 12 coaches told me he was the best def. Player in that league.
— Bruce Feldman (@BruceFeldmanCFB) January 12, 2016"
Billings has the skill set to be a dominant run-stuffing tackle, but he is surprisingly quick for a man his size. He can also be disruptive as an interior pass-rusher, making him more valuable than the average space-eating nose tackle.
In terms of his skill set, Billings compares favorably to Cleveland Browns 2015 first-round selection Danny Shelton. Both players have the build of a true nose tackle, coupled with the athleticism of a 3-technique tackle.
31. Carolina Panthers: Kevin Dodd

Clemson's defense is filled with future pros, but no one made a statement in the College Football Playoff quite like defensive end Kevin Dodd.
According to CFB Film Room, Dodd racked up eight quarterback pressures during the semifinal game against Oklahoma. He then added three sacks against the Alabama Crimson Tide, tying a championship-game record, according to ESPN Stats & Info:
"Kevin Dodd’s 3 sacks ties the record for sacks in a nat’l title game (Derrick Harvey, 2006 Florida) #NationalChampionship
— ESPN Stats & Info (@ESPNStatsInfo) January 12, 2016"
Dodd wins with a combination of size and quickness, giving him the potential to be a true three-down defensive end in the pros.
His skill set is reminiscent of Justin Tuck, whose versatility has allowed him to stick around the league for over a decade.
