Ballon d'Or Host James Nesbitt Wants Cristiano Ronaldo Back at Manchester United
Manchester United fans have longed for Cristiano Ronaldo's return to Old Trafford almost since the moment he left in 2009.
The Portuguese star left the Red Devils for Real Madrid in 2009 for £80 million, a world-record fee at the time.
And during next month's glamorous Ballon d'Or ceremony, he will once again be faced with the proposal to come back to Manchester.

The Hobbit actor James Nesbitt, a lifelong United fan, will host the event with Sky Sports presenter Kate Abdo, and he plans to lure Ronaldo back to his club with a personalised shirt, reports the Mirror.
"I'm taking a shirt with Ronaldo's name and number on it, and hopefully he'll put it on and get on the plane back with me," Nesbitt said.

It would be bad news for Memphis Depay, who wears the No. 7 at Old Trafford.
Nominated along with Barcelona's Leo Messi and Neymar, Ronaldo is vying for his fourth Ballon d'Or.
The ceremony will be held in Zurich on Jan. 11.
