The last thing Rafa Benitez would have wanted is grief at the airport as he returned to Spain from England on Boxing Day.
The Real Madrid boss spent Christmas with his family on Merseyside before jetting back to the Spanish capital ahead of their clash with Real Sociedad on Wednesday night.
With discontent among Los Blancos supporters, it was no surprise to see Benitez take some abuse as he walked towards his taxi.
The ex-Liverpool boss kept cool, though, smiling throughout as a journalist followed him to his car with a microphone in hand. "Merry Christmas," he replied.
Fair play to Rafa for not reacting.
