Hi My Name Is Chris and I'm a Browns Fan.

OK here it goes. Yes I am a Browns, yes that makes me unusually optimistic about this season and future seasons, and yes I have drunk my Kool-Aid today.

That said will everyone please calm down! Yes the defense hasn't stopped the run in the 4th quarter. Yes we have not score a relevant touchdown in almost half a season.  But in both games we were "in" the game until the defense spent most of the 4th on the field.

So far Brady Quinn is not what we had hoped for. So let's give him time sports fans. Or do we want to see him Belichicked. If your old enough we Browns fans ran Belichick out because he was too conservative, to emotionless and definitely not a winner. Can you say whoops?

So let’s give the kid a season. If he is not "it" with our high draft pick let's take one of the college hotshots and start over. If he improves and shows he got potential let’s build around him. Say a shut down corner or a dominate linebacker maybe an heir apparent to Tucker or Jim Brown even? Ok your right now I'm delusional!

Some Browns fans keep saying Mangini sucks and that we should have landed someone else as a coach, who do you people think we should have gotten? Not another inexperienced NFL coach! No! There were howls across the flats to get someone with experience. The "chin" he wasn't interested.

So we got a Belichick clone who was considered a genius his first two years in NY, NEW YORK, the only place with tougher fans than NY is Philly and they eat their own children for Pete’s sake. Oh yeah, he stunk his last year in NY. Hmmm let's see the    QB hoisted upon him had a torn shoulder for the last half of the season and  his backup was so bad that not even the new genius in town wanted him (read rookie coach R RYAN) they traded up to get a QB.

But what’s this, the new genius in NY is using whose players, yeah the team our bum put together. Including Mangold you know the center he drafted in the first round his first year that some were saying was a bust his first year as a starting center in the NFL. Why does that sound familiar?

So let give our coach, our QB and our Team a little time, let’s look for baby step improvements each week and let’s root for our Browns and whoever is playing against the pukes and the flying rats.
