Leicester City's Jamie Vardy Is Voted More 'Heroic' Than Edward Snowden in 2015

Just how impressive has Jamie Vardy's meteoric rise from non-league footballer to Premier League record-setter been? 

He's considered more heroic than Edward Snowden, and he's mentioned alongside astronauts in the same conversation. 

In a survey conducted by Opinium Research (h/t Goal), the Leicester City star was voted the ninth-most heroic figure of 2015, one spot in front of Snowden, the former American CIA employee who leaked confidential government information.

Vardy, of course, set a Premier League record by scoring in 11 consecutive league matches and has the Foxes flying high atop the Premier League, two points clear of second-place Arsenal.
