My Rankings Of The 32 Starting Quarterbacks

Michael GambinoSep 23, 2009

This is my rankings of all the 32 starting quarterbacks in the NFL.

1. Peyton Manning - Do I even have to explain this one.

2. Drew Brees - I think he has officially passed Brady as the second best quarterback and is pushing Manning.

3. Tom Brady - Although he has struggled this year, I expect him to bounce back.

4. Eli Manning - Even without Plaxico, Manning has led his team to a 2-0 record with guys like Mario Manningham and Steve Smith.

5. Philip Rivers - Puts up great numbers even though the Chargers don't have great receivers.

6. Matt Ryan - This guy is the real deal.

7. Donovan McNabb -  Even though he's injured ALL THE TIME, he is still one of the best.

8. Ben Roethlisberger - 2 Super Bowl championships, enough said.

9. Tony Romo - Should be better without TO.

10. Aaron Rodgers - 4,038 yards and 28 touchdowns in his first year as a starter, with all the pressure of taking over for the legend Favre. All he needs to do now is lead his team to wins in close games.

11. Carson Palmer - Injuries have hurt his career, but he is still a very good quarterback.

12. Kurt Warner - Although I think he has been a little overrated in his career with the great receivers he has had, you can't argue with 3 Super Bowl appearances.

13. Jay Cutler - I think his stats were high because of the Broncos wide receivers, but I still think he is a good quarterback.

14. Brett Favre - Should lead the Vikings to 10-12 wins easily, as long as Adrian Peterson stays healthy.

15. Joe Flacco - Should be in the top 10 one day.

16. Matt Schaub - One of the more underrated quarterbacks in the league.

17. Mark Sanchez - I think he is going to be a future star.

18. Matt Hasselbeck - Still a very good quarterback, when he plays.

19. Trent Edwards - I think he is going to take a big step forward this year.

20. Jason Campbell - I still think he can be a good quarterback for the Redskins.

21. Byron Leftwich - Some people may think this is high, but he has done a good job for the Bucs, the defense is why they are 0 and 2.

22. Chad Pennington - He did a good job for the Dolphins last year.

23. Kerry Collins - Did a great job for the Titans last year, not so much this year.

24. Jake Delhomme - I think he can rebound from the picks, but I don't think he'll be starting for Carolina past this year.

25. Matt Cassel - I think he is overrated, you should be able to do what he did last year when you have receivers named Randy Moss and Wes Welker.

26. David Garrard -  I don't expect him to be starting for the Jags much longer.

27. Kyle Orton - The Broncos went from Cutler to him, wow.

28. Brady Quinn - I still think he has a chance to be a decent quarterback, just not now.

29. Matt Stafford - I think the Lions are rushing him, not to good in the first two games.

30. Marc Bulger - I just think his time of being a good quarterback are well behind him.

31. Shaun Hill - He has led the 49ers to a 2-0 record, but I just don't think he is the 49ers future.

32. JaMarcus Russell - 35% completion percentage, that is beyond bad.
