Zinedine Zidane Wins 72% of Fan Vote over Who Should Be Real Madrid Manager

The results are in, and they are telling.
In a poll by Spanish newspaper AS (via Eurosport), Real Madrid fans overwhelmingly voted in favour of replacing current boss Rafa Benitez with club legend Zinedine Zidane, at least until the end of the season.
Of the 17,643 users who took part in the survey, 72 percent said they would like the Frenchman to take over, while only 13 percent expressed support of the Spaniard.

Benitez is under pressure after a run of poor form and off-field issues, while Zidane is in charge of Real Madrid Castilla.
Even more bad news for Benitez comes in the form of the fact that he wasn't even the supporters' second choice. The current director of Madrid’s youth academy, Victor Fernandez, eclipsed him with 15 percent.
