Scuderi won two Stanley Cups with the Penguins in 2009 and the Los Angeles Kings in 2012 and adds postseason experience to a Chicago team that was in second place in the Central Division entering play Monday. The Blackhawks, who have allowed only 2.42 goals per game this season, added another piece to their formidable defense Monday.

Adding depth alongside the 32-year-old Duncan Keith, who has already missed time this season with a knee injury, will help Chicago for the postseason run.

Scuderi has a plus-four rating and four assists on the season.

As for Daley, this was his first season with the Blackhawks after 11 years with the Dallas Stars. Daley has six assists on the year with a plus-one rating in 29 appearances.
