NFL Week 15 Betting Odds: Panthers, Patriots, Cardinals Favorites at Sportsbooks

OddsShark.comDec 14, 2015

The Carolina Panthers (13-0) need just three more wins to equal the 2007 New England Patriots as the only teams to finish the regular season undefeated at 16-0. In Week 15, the Panthers will visit the New York Giants as opening four-point road favorites at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark.

The Giants will be coming off of a short week after playing the Miami Dolphins on Monday night, and Carolina has gone 14-5-1 against the spread in its last 20 games as a favorite in December, according to the Odds Shark NFL Database.

Of course the Giants ultimately ruined New England’s bid for a 19-0 season with a 17-14 upset victory in Super Bowl XLII and will look to end another potential run at perfection when they host the Panthers.

The Panthers are one of three teams to already clinch a playoff berth, along with the Patriots (11-2) and Arizona Cardinals (11-2). New England gets a bit of a break in Week 15 when it hosts the Tennessee Titans (3-10) as 14-point home chalk. That follows three consecutive games against playoff contenders.

The Patriots are double-digit favorites for the third time this year and have gone 2-0 straight up and ATS previously in lopsided wins over the Jacksonville Jaguars (5-8) and Washington Redskins (6-7).

The Cardinals are coming off of a 23-20 home victory against the Minnesota Vikings (8-5) in the Week 14 Thursday night matchup, but they failed to cover the spread as 10-point favorites.

The Cardinals are 1-3 ATS in their last four games and will visit the Philadelphia Eagles (6-7) as 3.5-point road favorites in the Week 15 Sunday night game. Arizona finishes the regular season with home games versus the Green Bay Packers (9-4) and Seattle Seahawks (8-5).

Meanwhile, Philadelphia is still fighting for the NFC East title down the stretch. The Eagles have lost four of their past five meetings with the Cardinals, going 0-4-1 ATS. And this is the first time since 2012 that they have been home underdogs of more than a field goal.

There are three other prime-time matchups in Week 15, with the St. Louis Rams (5-8) kicking off the betting action by hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-7) in a pick’em game on Thursday night.

The New York Jets (8-5) will visit the Dallas Cowboys (4-9) as three-point favorites on Saturday night, and the New Orleans Saints (5-8) will wrap up the week as three-point chalk against the Detroit Lions (4-9) next Monday night.
