T.J. Yates, DeAndre Hopkins 2015 Fantasy Outlook After Brian Hoyer's Injury
The Houston Texans announced quarterback Brian Hoyer left his team's Sunday Night Football game against the New England Patriots in the fourth quarter after possibly suffering a concussion.
Backup T.J. Yates filled in for Hoyer and attempted just two passes, completing one.
Yates filled in at quarterback in Week 11 as well—when Hoyer suffered a concussion—completing 16 of 34 passes for 229 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Yates has shown he can put up numbers, and he would have a good Week 15 matchup against an Indianapolis Colts defense that ranks 23rd in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks, per ESPN.com.
Despite that, fantasy owners should start him only if the other quarterbacks on their rosters are out with injuries.
This might seem like a blow to one of the best receivers in the NFL, DeAndre Hopkins, but you can still feel good about plugging him into your starting lineup as a WR1.

Hopkins had five receptions for 112 yards and caught both of Yates' touchdowns in the Week 11 game against the New York Jets.
At this point, Hopkins, who was third in the NFL with 86 receptions heading into Week 14—in addition to scoring 10 touchdowns—is a must-start no matter what.
It would be hard to send one of the best young receivers in the NFL to the bench in any situation. Although Hopkins has had to catch passes from three different starting quarterbacks this year, there seems to be chemistry between him and Yates, which should put fantasy owners at ease.
