Adrian Peterson Scores 100th Career Touchdown vs. Cardinals
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson had a nine-yard touchdown run with 3:57 left in the first quarter, giving him his 100th career touchdown Thursday.
Peterson continues to add to his outstanding resume that's worthy of a bust in Canton, Ohio, when all is done. The former league MVP came into Thursday's game against the Arizona Cardinals with 1,182 yards and eight touchdowns.
After missing all but one game last year because of a suspension, the 30-year-old Peterson has shown this year that age is merely a number as he carries the Vikings toward a playoff spot.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Michele Steele of ESPN noted that after a rough Week 13, Peterson got off to a great start Thursday:
"After no trips to the red zone last week and no rushing TDs, Adrian Peterson romps into the end zone 7-3 Vikings

Peterson is far from being on pace to match his career high of 2,097 yards in 2012, but aside from that year, he hasn't run for 1,300 yards since 2009. With four games, including Thursday's, left on the schedule, Peterson should be able to reach that mark.
