The sporting world wasted no time piggybacking off the news that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West named their newborn baby "Saint."

Premier League football club Southampton welcomed the news by simply congratulating the mother on her "good choice" of name. (You might disagree, and that's OK.)

The NFL's New Orleans Saints were subtle in their response, opting to mirror the original tweet by communicating purely in emoji form.

Australian rules football team St. Kilda took the emoji a step further.

Even Scottish Premiership side St. Johnstone got in on the fun.

It remains to be seen whether Saint West will grow up a fan of the Scottish Premiership, but it's reassuring to know there's a possibility.
