Jon Bon Jovi Denies Rumors of Interest in Tennessee Titans
Famed musician Jon Bon Jovi stated Tuesday he's not involved with any groups that could potentially purchase the NFL's Tennessee Titans.
Jason La Canfora of CBSSports.com reported over the weekend that Bon Jovi remains "eager" to become an NFL owner and "continues to work behind the scenes" to make it possible, including interest in the Titans. There are questions about whether he could receive enough financial backing, though.
Bon Jovi replied to the rumors on social media and downplayed the buzz, writing: "Rumors of my interest in the [Tennessee] Titans are nothing more than that. I am not part of any group perusing a team that is not for sale."

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The 53-year-old singer was previously linked to the Buffalo Bills in 2014, per Mike Ozanian of Forbes.com, which raised fears in the area that he could move the team north to Toronto. The Pegula family, which also owns the NHL's Buffalo Sabres, ultimately won the bidding to keep the team in Buffalo.
Bon Jovi has also forged a friendship with New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, which is part of what La Canfora described as cultivating "relationships with influential NFL bigwigs."
While he didn't deny interest in possibly becoming involved with a group to purchase an NFL team in the future, it doesn't sound like the Titans will be that franchise. That said, the CBSSports.com report noted no prospective owners would likely admit interest during the early stages of the process.
The biggest key to buying a team would be getting a backer with deep pockets. Bon Jovi has an estimated net worth of $300 million. Meanwhile, the cheapest NFL organization in the latest Forbes valuations was the aforementioned Bills at $1.4 billion.
