WWE Rumors: Buzz on Road to WWE TLC 2015 for Week of Dec. 4

Aaron BowerDec 4, 2015

This week's weekly installment of WWE rumors features a story that could shake the company to its very core over the next few months.

These have been a quiet few weeks for the company, with a disappointing Survivor Series show leaving everyone feeling flat.

But what lies ahead in the immediate and long-term future? Let's take a look with some of the most headline-grabbing rumors of the past few days.

News on Tommy Dreamer's WWE Return

There was a fairly decent shock return on Raw this past Monday, when Tommy Dreamer made his way through the crowd to help The Dudley Boyz in their battle against The Wyatt Family.

When D-Von Dudley announced they had their own family, many expected Spike Dudley to stroll down to the ring. Instead, it was Dreamer who answered the call and brought an ECW reunion to WWE's flagship show.

In terms of his future with the company, WrestlingInc.com's Marc Middleton writes that Dreamer is not currently employed on a full-time deal.

However, expect to see him stay alongside The Dudley Boyz for at least the next couple of weeksTables, Ladders and Chairs is just around the corner.

However, what's more interesting than TLC is that Middleton suggests there could even be another ECW Original coming back to make it an even contest.

You just wonder who that could be.

The Future of Alberto Del Rio and Zeb Colter

When Colter unveiled Del Rio as his new client at Night of Champions, it certainly caught a few people by surprise.

Well, per The Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t LordsOfPain), there's an update on their relationship, and it suggests they may not be together for too long.

The report notes that it's already being discussed about what happens with Del Rio when the two are split up, and there's already direction being planned backstage.

This makes sensein fairness. Del Rio will surely outgrow Colter and the "MexAmerica" gimmick at some point, as he seems fully capable of standing on his own two feet.

It'll be interesting to see when the split occurs, though. Watch this space.

Huge News on Kevin Owens

Here are a couple of notes on Kevin Owens nowwith one arguably way more significant than the other.

The first comes from PWInsider (h/t WrestlingInc), and it details the fact that Owens was initially supposed to be involved in the angle with the League of Nations on Raw this past Monday.

Whether he takes up a role with them in the coming weeks remains to be seen, but what's more interesting here is that there is longer-term news regarding K.O.

MLW Radio (h/t WrestlingInc) has news of a potentially huge plan for Owens at WrestleMania, namely a match and feud against Brock Lesnar.

This would be huge. There's no doubt about it. Working out the roles in terms of babyface and heel is something that can be sorted out in the coming weeks, but this rivalry happening would be major news for Owens fans.

Lesnar is arguably the company's biggest asset now, so to give K.O. a chance to roll with him in a feud at the biggest time of the year is blockbuster stuff.

You can just imagine how good it would be right now. Have Owens cost Lesnar the Royal Rumble, and things would roll on from there naturally.

If any match needs to happen at WrestleMania 32, then it has to be this one, surely?
