Week 13 NFL Picks: Full Lines, Best Odds, Spread Advice and Predictions
Just removed from having to deal with the most unpredictable game of the season, bettors now get to dive into Week 13 NFL picks with confidence.
Monday Night Football between the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns was as unpredictable as most could have guessed, so it was only right the 33-27 result in favor of the visitors came on a blocked field goal Baltimore returned for a touchdown.
It gets easier, folks. This is especially the case early in the week, when Las Vegas sometimes posts a dud of a line for bettors to take advantage of before an adjustment.

Best Early-Week Odds to Bet
Green Bay (-3) at Detroit
About three weeks ago, this looked like a laugher of a matchup.
Instead, the Detroit Lions shocked the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field in 18-16 fashion and have won two more to make the streak three in a row and sit at 4-7. Over the same three-game stretch, Green Bay has won just one of three to land at 7-4.
The Lions quite suddenly boast a powerful offense that just posted 45 points on the Philadelphia Eagles, where Matthew Stafford threw for 337 yards and five scores. His counterpart, Aaron Rodgers, mustered a lone touchdown and an interception in a 17-13 loss to the Chicago Bears.
Even head coach Mike McCarthy understands the challenge the Lions pose, as captured by the team's Twitter account:
Even so, it's hard to doubt the Packers on the road, who surely won't have the same offensive miscues as the last time out. Detroit might be playing good defense, too, but so is Green Bay considering the unit only surrenders 19.5 points per game.
Look for the angry Packers defense to hit home on Stafford often, while Rodgers applies the lessons learned from the team's last encounter with Detroit to squeak out a win.
Prediction: Packers 33, Lions 30
Arizona (-5.5) at St. Louis
This one will get ugly.
The 9-2 Arizona Cardinals look unstoppable, and no, it matters little that the St. Louis Rams took them down in 24-22 fashion back in Week 4.
In fact, most of the problem is St. Louis. Since the upset, Jeff Fisher's team has just two more wins, which came against woeful teams in the Browns and San Francisco 49ers. The team's most recent outing? A 31-7 shellacking at the hands of the Cincinnati Bengals, which has Fisher dialing up interesting quotes such as this:
That Cincinnati team that had the Rams in complete disarray? The Cardinals beat them, 34-31, in Week 11.
In fact, the Cardinals now ride a five-game streak on the back of a defense letting up just 91.1 rushing yards per game and 20.8 points. Carson Palmer has completed 63.8 percent of his passes with 27 touchdowns to nine interceptions.
The once-proud St. Louis defense has now let up 31 or more points twice in its past three games. An offense led by Nick Foles or Case Keenum simply cannot keep up. Look for the Cardinals to pull away and never look back.
Prediction: Cardinals 35, Rams 20
Atlanta at Tampa Bay (-1)
Believe it or not, there are upsets from earlier in the season that will carry over to Week 13.
Case in point, the rematch between the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Tampa Bay took a trip to Atlanta in Week 8 and secured a 23-20 overtime decision behind two touchdowns from rookie quarterback Jameis Winston while the Buccaneers defense stuffed Atlanta back Devonta Freeman to 88 yards on the ground.
Atlanta hasn't won since, taking a four-game skid into this weekend at 6-5. Winston and Co. rode the momentum by winning two of their next four to sit within striking range of a Wild Card berth at 5-6.
A season sweep of the Falcons, of course, would work wonders. It's hard to think it cannot happen, especially with Winston two weeks removed from a five-touchdown performance over the Philadelphia Eagles.
In fact, Winston looks more reliable than Atlanta starter Matt Ryan these days. Over his past two games, Ryan has mustered four touchdowns to five interceptions while the offense hasn't broke the 20-point barrier more than once over the team's past five outings.
Combine the venue with the red-hot Buccaneers and the careening, out-of-control Falcons and one gets a pretty clear picture—it's the maturing Buccaneers who pose the biggest threat to the undefeated Carolina Panthers in the NFC South.
Expect Winston to manage the game well and lean on running back Doug Martin. Ryan's been too inconsistent this season to trust on the road.
Prediction: Buccaneers 28, Falcons 24
