WWE Rumors: Buzz on Road to WWE TLC 2015 for Week of Nov. 27

Aaron BowerNov 27, 2015

A disappointing Survivor Series is fast fading into memory, with this week's rumors built around the stars who weren't at the marquee pay-per-view.

WWE is dealing with a number of big names off TV at the moment, with numerous reasons behind the multiple absences.

This week's rumors go some way toward clarifying when we'll see not only currently absent names, but one that has just signed up to the company, too.

Lana's Heat Backstage Now 'Nuclear'

It's not a good time for Lana, with the currently absent Diva now experiencing what is being described as 'nuclear' heat backstage.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t WrestlingInc) notes that the fact people are suggesting WWE officials are unhappy with Lana right now is what's regarded as a "major understatement."

She got dragged into what emerged to be a real-life Twitter feud with Paige, even though WWE's website tried to negotiate that into an actual angle. That threw even more heat on her at a time when her stock wasn't great with WWE as it was.

The angle with Rusev and Dolph Ziggler had to be shelved unexpectedly when her real-life engagement to Rusev was revealed, even though she was working in an angle with Ziggler at the time, with Rusev his and her rival.

It'll be interesting to see how Lana is brought back to television. Will she be teamed up with Rusev, or will she go it alone?

WWE Signs New Latin Star

Those who are on top of all things WWE will have noted recently that the company signed up top Latin star La Sombra, real name Manuel Alfonso Andrade Oropeza.

He's now in full training with WWE at their Performance Center in Orlando, and reports have emerged that he could turn out to be a real coup for the company.

F4WOnline (h/t WrestlingInc) notes that he's a great talent and is so highly regarded that he could well be the top Latin star WWE has been after for some time.

He speaks English, which could be crucial, and all the reports are suggesting this guy could be a real star. Expect to see him on NXT soon, where he'll surely make rapid progress.

If he's as impressive as how he's being described, he could be the answer to a lot of problems for the company right now.

Bad News On Randy Orton

The names just keep adding up for WWE and its injury list. Randy Orton has been gone for a while now, but he's been joined by guys like Seth Rollins and now Cesaro.

But interestingly, fresh news has emerged this week of a setback which could keep Orton out for even longer.

His participation at WrestleMania 32 was already in doubt because of the shoulder problem that required him to undergo surgery, but he's now reported to be going under the knife again.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t WrestlingInc) notes he will also now need neck surgery once he's over his shoulder surgery.

However, thankfully the feeling is that there won't be as much of a layoff with this surgery as with the initial blow. Orton could be out for three to six months after having the neck surgery, but sadly, it's now set to be a while until The Viper is back in WWE.
