LaRon Landry Reportedly Suspended Indefinitely: Details, Comments, Reaction
LaRon Landry remains without an NFL team, and the veteran safety may have a harder time finding work after reportedly being suspended indefinitely by the league, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Teams avoided signing Landry in the offseason after he earned a 10-game suspension in March for a violation of the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy. It was the second time he ran afoul of the PED policy after getting a four-game suspension in September 2014.

It's not far off to say a suspension like this could signal the beginning of the end for Landry.
Pro Football Focus rated him as the 18th-best free-agent safety prior to the 2015 season. Landry made the Pro Bowl in 2012, but the on-field return over his career never seemed to match the talent or physical tools he possessed.
He also turned 31 in October, so his best days are behind him. Throw in the fact he will have spent at least one full year away from the game, and few teams will be willing to take a risk on Landry when or if he would be reinstated.
