WWE NXT: Full Preview, Match Card and More for November 25

The Doctor Chris MuellerNov 24, 2015

Welcome to Bleacher Report's preview for this week's episode of WWE NXT, where we take a spoiler-free look at what's in store for the developmental brand's upcoming episode.

The last three episodes featured a different title being defended on each show, but this week we get a double dose of title match goodness when the NXT Tag Team titles and the Women's Championship are on the line.

Let's take a look at what's in store for Wednesday's show.

Contract Signing

Finn Balor is set to defend the NXT title against Samoa Joe at TakeOver: London, and things will be made official this week when Michael Cole brings both men out to sign the contract.

Cole is filling in for William Regal while he is recovering from neck surgery, but the only two people who matter in this segment are Joe and Balor.

Joe's heel turn a few weeks ago set things in motion, and you can bet that Balor will be looking for revenge. Just about every contract signing in WWE history has ended with a fight, so both men need to watch their backs.

It was less than two months ago that these two men won the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, but that's the nature of pro wrestling. One minute you are allies. The next minute, you are enemies.

The fact that this match is happening in a WWE ring is amazing. For many years, Joe was the heart and soul of TNA, while Balor was one of New Japan Pro Wrestling's main attractions. Both men are looking to make a name for themselves in WWE, and this bout will help them do that.

The Men

Speaking of TNA, Jesse Sorensen will be making an appearance in a match against Apollo Crews. This won't be Sorensen's first appearance in NXT, but it has been a long time since we have seen him.

Crews is on a roll right now. Just because he didn't win the NXT title when he challenged Balor doesn't mean he won't be back in the hunt for the belt soon.

Considering Sorensen isn't actually signed to a deal, the outcome of this contest seems pretty obvious. However, a solid performance could lead to him being offered a contract.

Then again, Blue Pants has made numerous appearances without being signed, so it's possible Sorensen will end up in the same situation.

If you have seen this young man in TNA, you know he is quite talented. He even managed to return from a severe neck injury that easily could have ended his career, so we know he's tough. It's going to be fun watching him do his thing against someone as gifted as Crews.

The second singles match of the night will see Baron Corbin go up against Tye Dillinger. Again, this seems like an easy bout to predict.

Dillinger is being used more often these days, but he has yet to get a real push. Corbin is still being booked as a monster heel with great potential, so he is doing just fine.

Dillinger has had a strange career in WWE. He worked for the company between 2006 and 2009, making appearances on WWE's version of ECW before eventually being released.

He returned in 2013 and has been featured regularly in NXT, but he has never been able to gain any momentum. If WWE doesn't find something for him to do soon, he may find himself back on the indy circuit.

These matches will be entertaining, but they are just appetizers compared to the title matches scheduled for this week.

The Tag Teams

Just two weeks after The Mechanics defeated The Vaudevillains for the Tag Team Championships, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder will defend their titles in a rematch against Simon Gotch and Aiden English.

These four men could all be described as old-school wrestlers, especially English and Gotch. They had a physical match two weeks ago, and we can expect the same kind of performance this week.

It was a little surprising to see Dawson and Dash win the titles in such a dominant way. They were little more than jobbers a few months ago, so they must have impressed someone with booking power.

They destroyed English's knee during their last encounter, so they will likely focus their efforts on doing the same thing to defeat The Vaudevillains again.

The tag team scene in NXT is starting to gain some traction. If The Mechanics are able to retain their titles, they will have plenty of competition waiting in the wings to challenge them for the belts.

The Women

This week will include a rematch from TakeOver: Respect featuring Dana Brooke battling NXT's newest Diva, Asuka.

Brooke will be looking to avenge the loss she suffered at the hands of Asuka last month, but it's not going to be an easy task.

Asuka is one of the toughest women to wrestle in a WWE ring in quite some time. She hits hard, has great technical ability and uses a variety of offense to dominate her opponents.

Brooke will almost certainly have Emma in her corner, so that will give her a slight advantage, but seeing as it didn't help her the last time these two women faced each other, it might not make a difference.

This is an important match for both women. Even if Brooke ends up losing, a good performance against someone as talented as Asuka will give management a reason to push her.

If Asuka picks up another win here, it will give her some momentum and leverage when she decides the time is right to pursue the Women's Championship.

On that note, the night's main event will see Bayley defend her Women's title against someone many feel doesn't deserve a title shot at all.

Eva Marie took several months off in order to hone her skills and train with Brian Kendrick, but the fans still haven't accepted her as a real threat to anyone.

Turning her into a heel was the only option management had. She gets the kind of heat X-Pac used to get, but possibly more.

The reason fans don't like her is because she was hired for her looks. She had no wrestling experience prior to joining the cast of Total Divas, and the fact that she was given such a prominent spot in the company right away led to a lot of backlash.

This is a huge test for the red-headed bombshell. She doesn't necessarily need to win to benefit. Putting on a good performance against one of the best female talents in the company will go a long way toward securing her future and winning over the WWE Universe.

With two title bouts and a contract signing, we have a packed episode of NXT in front of us. Which match are you looking forward to the most?
