Daily Fantasy Football November 24: DFS Stock Up, Stock Down
No matter what you have accomplished in the NFL, it is a week-to-week league. Those looking to succeed in daily fantasy football have to keep up with the latest info to avoid falling behind.
Between major injuries, changing roles and levels of performance, a player who was deemed a star a week ago could be a terrible fantasy option the next. Others have jumped into the spotlight with big showings and could provide some value for cheap prices.
Here is a look at the latest stock report as of Nov. 24.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Stock Up
Carson Palmer, QB, Arizona Cardinals ($7,100)

Although Week 12 will be the highest cost of the season for Carson Palmer, he continues to show why he is worth it. The veteran quarterback faced two of the best defenses in the NFL the last two weeks and finished with a combined 680 passing yards and seven touchdowns against the Cincinnati Bengals and the Seattle Seahawks.
Nathan Jahnke of Pro Football Focus gave high praise for the quarterback after one of his four touchdowns Sunday night:
Palmer isn't just getting lucky; he is making some of the best passes you will see in football. He also has plenty of talent around him to make plays after the catch, headlined by Larry Fitzgerald. Considering his worst fantasy game all season was 18.34 points on DraftKings in a game in which he threw three touchdown passes, Palmer has become one of the safest options available.
Against a San Francisco 49ers defense that has struggled all year, this could be a huge game.
James Jones, WR, Green Bay Packers ($4,600)
It seemed the great start for James Jones was finally evening out when the veteran failed to grab a single pass in a Week 10 loss to the Detroit Lions. With Aaron Rodgers struggling and Davante Adams returning to the lineup, Jones became an afterthought in fantasy.
However, the 31-year-old receiver came back in a big way in a Week 11 win, finishing with six catches for 109 yards on 11 targets, all of which led the Packers. He also showcased his connection with Rodgers on this touchdown reception:
Those are the types of plays that have made Rodgers an elite quarterback, and he needs someone he can trust to be there, making Jones a valuable commodity.
An important note is that Jones' playing time never wavered during the recent slide. He was on the field for more than 80 percent of snaps in every game this year, per PFF, and he should be a quality option going forward for a reasonable price on DraftKings.
Antonio Andrews, RB, Tennessee Titans ($3,700)

Not many people were likely watching the Jacksonville Jaguars defeat the Tennessee Titans on Thursday night, but one of the bright spots was the play of Antonio Andrews.
The running back finished the game with 78 rushing yards on 15 carries to go with two catches for 16 yards. Although he didn't get into the end zone, he will have more opportunities ahead against an Oakland Raiders defense allowing 4.5 yards per carry this season.
Just as importantly, Andrews could be in line for more touches, as pass-catching running back Dexter McCluster is expected to miss a few weeks with a knee injury, per Jim Wyatt of Titans Online.
Although David Cobb could also be in the mix, he finished with just four carries for minus-three yards in his debut. Andrews should remain the go-to option in the backfield and could be a top sleeper in Week 12 for a cheap cost.
Stock Down
A.J. Green, WR, Cincinnati Bengals ($7,400)

There is no denying A.J. Green is one of the most talented receivers in the NFL. In a season-long fantasy league, you want to keep him in your lineup because he always has the opportunity to explode for a huge game. However, he hasn't been consistent enough to spend this much of your daily fantasy budget.
In recent games, Green hasn't done much to separate himself from teammate Marvin Jones, listed at $4,200 for Week 12.
| A.J. Green | 13 | 199 | 0 | 25 | $7,633 |
| Marvin Jones | 13 | 182 | 0 | 24 | $4,300 |
An upcoming matchup against the St. Louis Rams won't likely help things. Despite recent team-wide struggles, the group is still good against the pass, thanks in part to the play of Janoris Jenkins at cornerback.
Green has the ability to surprise, but you might want a safer play for this price.
Latavius Murray, RB, Oakland Raiders ($5,400)
The entire Raiders offense was shut down Sunday by the Detroit Lions, leading to bad games for Derek Carr, Amari Cooper and Latavius Murray. Although Murray was able to get into the end zone, he finished with only 28 rushing yards on 13 attempts. That is not enough to help fantasy teams.
Meanwhile, the touchdown—which was Murray's first in a five-week stretch—came only after Marcel Reece failed to score in two attempts on the previous downs. It's tough to know whether the coaching staff will make similar decisions in the future, but a running back who has a limited role in the passing game and doesn't get first crack at goal-line touches has limited upside in points-per-reception contests.
To make matters worse, the Week 12 matchup against the Tennessee Titans features a defense allowing the second-fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs on DraftKings. For the price, there are too many better options at the position.
Jason Witten, TE, Dallas Cowboys ($4,500)

The return of Tony Romo helped boost the play of both Dez Bryant and Terrance Williams, but Jason Witten was limited to just two catches for 27 yards in the win. While the stats were disappointing, one of the bigger issues is that he was targeted only three times, the same number as backup tight end Gavin Escobar.
Witten's numbers have been lacking all season. He hasn't topped 50 yards in a game since Week 7, and he hasn't scored since getting two touchdowns in Week 1. Those issues were supposed to resolve themselves when Romo returned, but the first game back together didn't quiet any of the doubts for the 33-year-old pass-catcher.
As a player who is still listed among the top fantasy tight ends in the league, Witten is not giving you much value here.
