Top Week 11 Matchup
Cincinnati Bengals at Arizona Cardinals

The Cincinnati Bengals come into this enticing Sunday Night Football clash with fewer losses that their opponent, but it's no secret they aren't the ones with the vast amount of momentum.
That's because while the Bengals suffered a surprising and tough defeat Monday night to the Houston Texans and come in on a short week, the Arizona Cardinals are flying high. At 7-2 and fresh off an inspiring win over the Seattle Seahawks to extend their NFC West lead, Arizona is firing on all cylinders.
That starts with veteran quarterback Carson Palmer, who threw for three touchdowns last week against the Seahawks and is playing perhaps the best football of his long career. Of course, he'll have some added motivation to bring into Sunday.
That's because Palmer will be facing his former team—the same Cincinnati squad he forced a trade away from in 2011. There hasn't been much in the form of public bad blood, but his teammates know they need to play for him, as ESPN's Ed Werder reported:
It's safe to say the Bengals haven't missed him too much this season in the midst of a perfect 8-0 start, but their strong beginning came crashing down Monday night against the Texans.
They were defeated 10-6 at home by a team previously 3-5 on the season, and their failures to reach the end zone had them on the wrong end of history, as ESPN Stats & Info reported:
The Bengals have found ways to mount late comebacks and overcome adversity down the stretch in games this season, even if it didn't happen Monday. That had ESPN.com's Coley Harvey noting that despite losing their first game, Andy Dalton and the Bengals could keep their hopes high:

"Late-game defensive stands against the Ravens, Seahawks and Steelers gave the Bengals’ offense chances to get back on the field in those comebacks," Harvey wrote. "The same happened against the Texans, and Dalton was driving before A.J. Green fumbled a catch late."
When it comes down to it, the Bengals still likely would have won that game had Tyler Eifert not dropped three catches and Green not fumbled late. But that was also against Houston, not Arizona.
With Palmer intent on sticking it to his former team and behind a defense led by the boisterous recent play from Tyrann Mathieu, the Cardinals will have too much going for them on both sides of the ball to drop an important prime-time game at home.
Prediction: Cardinals 31, Bengals 24
