Hairston's 2015-16 Season Off to Slow Start
The 22-year-old has started the first 10 games of the season for Charlotte this season but has been abysmal, shooting 33.3 percent from the floor with averages of 17.5 minutes and 4.8 points per contest.
Former lottery pick Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is still recovering from shoulder surgery, and Hairston has failed to capitalize on his opportunity thus far. The Hornets have seen Jeremy Lamb begin to realize his potential amid a hot start to 2015-16, which has offset the disappointment of Hairston's play.
Unfortunately, Lamb is dealing with a left shoulder strain ahead of Tuesday's contest, per the Hornets' PR Twitter feed.
