Zeller Ruled Out Against Bulls

Charlotte ruled the big man out for Friday's contest against the Chicago Bulls with a left ankle strain.

It's unclear when Zeller hurt his ankle, but his absence comes two days after he made the game-winning basket against the New York Knicks to secure the Hornets' fourth win in five games.

Zeller has been coming off the bench as Charlotte's sixth man and has done well in the role, scoring in double figures in three of the last four games.

Marvin Williams will continue starting at power forward, but Zeller's absence could open the door for rookie Frank Kaminsky to see some playing time at the 4. The ninth overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft has averaged only nine minutes per game, but Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer believes Kaminsky will start to see more time on the court in the near future:
