Daily Fantasy Hockey 2015: DraftKings NHL Optimal Lineup for November 10

Forwards

Nathan MacKinnon, C, Colorado Avalanche ($7,500)

Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon is in the top five of highest-salaried centers, but you may not be able to find better value at the position. He's absolutely tearing it up in his third season, putting up over a point per game.

MacKinnon's hot start to the season has only gotten hotter in recent games, producing two goals on five points in his last three outings—a DK average of seven points per contest in that span. Against a Philadelphia Flyers crew ranking 28th against centers so far, MacKinnon should feast again.

Tyler Toffoli, RW, Los Angeles Kings ($5,900)

The Arizona Coyotes come into Los Angeles on the heels of a back-to-back, and right-winger Tyler Toffoli should be looking to take advantage of their tired legs.

Toffoli's breakout last season wasn't a fluke, as he's proven so far with a scoring outburst of nine goals and four assists in 14 games. He scored in L.A.'s only meeting with the Coyotes this season and added two points against them a year ago.

Filip Forsberg, LW, Nashville Predators ($5,600)

James Neal (55 shots) is putting the puck on the net at a torrid pace so far this season, but left-winger Filip Forsberg has 33 of his own and is due for a breakout Tuesday night at home against the Ottawa Senators.

In the Nashville Predators' early-season encounter with Ottawa, Forsberg posted his highest time-on-ice total of the season. With a point per game against the Senators last season, Forsberg will be in line to end his scoring drought at an affordable price tag.

Kyle Palmieri, RW, New Jersey Devils ($4,000)

It's awfully rare to find a player pushing four DK points per game at a salary as cheap as Kyle Palmieri's, and he has a favorable matchup Tuesday night to go along with his surprise scoring outburst.

Palmieri has a goal and an assist in two straight games, surpassing seven DK points in each contest. Against a St. Louis Blues squad ranking 22nd against his position, expect more of those types of numbers from Palmieri.

Defensemen

Mark Streit, Philadelphia Flyers ($4,900)

No matter who they play against, the Colorado Avalanche have failed to keep opposing blueliners off the scoresheet. They give up the second-most DK points to defensemen of any team in the league, and that sets Mark Streit up well for production Tuesday.

The Flyers may be outmatched Tuesday against the Avalanche, but Streit won't be affected by it. With three goals already this season and nearly two blocked shots per game, expect Streit to continue his strong fantasy pace.

Goaltender

Kari Lehtonen or Antti Niemi, Dallas Stars ($6,800 Each)

The revolving door that is the Dallas Stars' goaltending situation should be worth banking on no matter who starts between Kari Lehtonen and Antti Niemi on Tuesday night.

Lehtonen is the hot hand with three straight starts, all wins in which he's surpassed 6.2 DK points. But Niemi averages over five points per game as well, and whichever netminder gets the start will be a strong daily fantasy play against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Leafs have just 29 goals this season, worst among teams playing Tuesday.
