Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose Is Best for Business at WWE Survivor Series 2015
WWE Intercontinental champion Kevin Owens and Dean Ambrose are two of the hottest stars in WWE’s midcard division. One might think, why not put these two WWE Superstars together in a program?
Well, coincidentally, WWE Creative thought the same thing.
Monday Night Raw pitted Ambrose and Owens on opposite sides. Ambrose sided with Ryback, The Usos and Roman Reigns to face Owens, The New Day and Seth Rollins.

The final four were Rollins, Owens, Ambrose and Reigns. Owens tried to gain the upper hand on Ambrose, but it was for naught. Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds on Owens for the pinfall.
That led to the two in a match on the following SmackDown, with Owens gaining the upper hand through a dastardly deed of his own. He pulled off an acting job by selling a low blow even though Ambrose never hit him. The referee, believing Owens, awarded him the decision by disqualification.
This led to Ambrose living up to his nickname, "Lunatic Fringe." He attacked Owens relentlessly after the match. Owens scurried through the crowd, leaving Ambrose livid in the ring.
WWE struck gold with this pairing. Here are two WWE Superstars the crowd looks forward to seeing. And now, they'll most likely be embroiled in a feud.
Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose is best for business at WWE Survivor Series 2015. The question is not if these two will fight at the event. Rather, the question is what they'll be fighting for.
The first choice for these two to fight for is Owens' WWE Intercontinental Championship. Owens won that title from Ryback and held back The Big Guy consecutively at Night of Champions and Hell in a Cell.
Ambrose has chased that title for months. In fact, in February, he stated how great it would be to hold that title around his shoulder. Ambrose almost did at WrestleMania but fell short. Unfortunately for him, it was his last shot at the title.
The second option is due to the absence of Rollins. The WWE champion tore his ACL, MCL and medial meniscus at a house show, which will force him to miss six to nine months. WWE announced that a tournament would take place at Survivor Series for the now-vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
This would be the perfect opportunity to put these two in a match together. The stakes couldn't be higher, with both men willing to do what it takes to win.
Both Ambrose and Owens are scrappers and can fly, with Owens the bulkier of the two. The size disadvantage hasn't slowed Ambrose down before, as he's beaten opponents taller than Owens.
Psychology will play a role during their bout. Owens is likely to trigger Ambrose's short fuse, while The Lunatic Fringe owns a pinfall victory over the champion.
Owens is the more complete wrestler of the two. While Ambrose scratches and claws his way to victory, Owens uses everything in his arsenal to win. The champion uses power and speed to wear down his opponents. Ambrose uses his speed to his advantage, but Owens can keep up with him.
This comes down to the situation. If Owens' title is on the line, Owens will successfully defend it. However, Ambrose would win if they fought in the tournament.
Ambrose knows what it's like to vie for the WWE title, while Owens hasn't had that exposure yet. Ambrose can use his experience to overcome the persistent Owens.
Frankly, this is a match the WWE Universe should be looking forward to. Here are two guys who will risk everything just to beat their opponents. Expect sparks to fly at Survivor Series if Kevin Owens squares off against Dean Ambrose!
