Matt Camp's Fantasy Trade Advice
Analysis

What are we to make of Drew Brees?
He was drafted to be a QB1, he promptly scored 20 fantasy points just once in the first seven weeks of the season and then, bam, he threw for 505 yards and seven touchdowns against the New York Giants last week.
Let's be honest—last week is a pretty obvious outlier. Nobody could sustain that level of production. That's obvious enough. But will his explosion fuel a more productive Brees down the stretch, or will he continue to be the player who posted 16 or fewer fantasy points six times?
It's probably right smack in the middle. Brees doesn't have Jimmy Graham to rely on anymore. While Brandin Cooks has started to come on, the team's receiving corps is pretty weak. The New Orleans Saints would be wise to lean heavily on running back Mark Ingram, who is having an excellent season.
But this is Brees we are talking about. He's an excellent quarterback who has proved, time and again, that he has the ability to carve any defense apart. He's going to have these big weeks. You're just going to have to get used to those big weeks being separated by a fair share of middling performances.
Of course, with players like Jamaal Charles, Arian Foster, Le'Veon Bell, Jordy Nelson and Keenan Allen lost for the season, fantasy owners are getting pretty accustomed to relying on mediocre players at this point. One replacement who won't be mediocre, however, is Pittsburgh running back DeAngelo Williams.
In the first two games of the season, with Bell suspended, Williams tallied 204 rushing yards, three touchdowns and 38 total fantasy points in standard leagues. That essentially makes him an RB2 at worst going forward, and should have made him the top priority on waivers in every single league this week.
He's also a player you might be able to buy low on, however. Folks tend to undervalue handcuffs once they become the starter, and for good reason. Alfred Blue isn't about to make anyone forget about Foster, you know?
But Williams is the exception to that rule. He's a former starter in this league on an excellent offense and has already proved he will produce when given the chance. While he won't be as consistent as Bell, there's no reason to believe he won't produce solid numbers for his fantasy owners. If you managed to snag him, well, congrats—you just landed a weekly starter.
If you didn't, very seriously consider making a trade for him now. His value is only going to rise.
Speaking of Blue, he's worth owning but don't overpay for him. He's pretty mediocre. Antonio Andrews, on the other hand, might be a steal. Interim head coach Mike Mularkey indicated the Titans would be relying on him pretty heavily going forward, per Jim Wyatt of TitansOnline.com:
"I think Antonio (Andrews) is the workhorse as we speak right now. As you’ve seen, Dexter (McCluster) has had his carries as a changeup for us. Bishop (Sankey), again, I know he hasn’t had carries in the last couple of weeks, but we’re trying. Based on the run scheme that we’ve had in these last couple of weeks, it hasn’t called upon his ability. But if we were going to force it, it would be to Antonio right now.
"
The Titans don't exactly have a ferocious offense, so Andrews' upside is fairly low. Still, for a player you can get dirt-cheap at the moment, the possibility of him getting 20 or more touches a game gives him a lot of value in a trade, especially if you are thin at running back.
See if you can slyly toss him into a deal for a different player as an "add on," then sit back and laugh as you add quality depth to your running back reserves.
