Daily Fantasy Hockey 2015: DraftKings NHL Optimal Lineup for November 4
The 2015 NHL season is now entering its second month, and daily fantasy hockey is in full swing. Diehard owners already have their favorite players to start, but the options on Wednesday are limited with only four games being played.
Despite the scarce amount of targets to choose from, we've broken it down to a player at each position to lock into your roster. Here's a look at the best options for your optimal lineup on Wednesday night.
Center: Bryan Little, Winnipeg Jets ($5,200)

Through 12 games this season, Bryan Little has 11 points. He's coming off a game where he was shut out on the score sheet, but so was nearly the entire Winnipeg Jets offense.
You know what Little does after he's held scoreless? He responds. In the last 10 games, Little has not scored a point three times. In each of those situations, he put up at least two points in the subsequent game.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are allowing 3.1 goals per game, ranking 26th in the NHL. Alongside Blake Wheeler and Andrew Ladd, expect Little to do a lot—pun intended.
Winger: Patrick Kane, Chicago Blackhawks ($7,900)

The Blackhawks offense might not be firing on all cylinders lately, but it's not from a lack of trying on Patrick Kane's part. Chicago's lead right winger is on a seven-game scoring streak with 10 points since Oct. 17.
When he's not scoring, Kane is dishing it out to Jonathan Toews to gobble up assists for fantasy owners. He's by far the priciest player on Wednesday's slate, but he's well worth the price. Building around Kane seems like a wise strategy with three players needed at the wing position.
Defenseman: Brent Seabrook, Chicago Blackhawks ($5,000)

DFS owners don't normally spend a lot of money on defensemen, but the options are limited. Given Brent Seabrook's production early this season, Seabs is simply too good to pass up.
There was some concern that Seabrook was injured on Wednesday, but Tracey Myers of CSN Chicago cleared things up:
Over his last six games, Seabrook has scored no less than four fantasy points on DraftKings. During that streak, he's scored two goals and six assists. The matchup might not be fantastic against the St. Louis Blues, but it's becoming increasingly harder to deny Seabrook during his nearly two-week tear.
Goalie: Ondrej Pavelec, Winnipeg Jets ($6,600)

No, Ondrej Pavelec isn't exactly the sexiest option at this spot, but he's played well enough to warrant a spot start. Going up against an atrocious Maple Leafs squad makes the Jets goalie an even more enticing target.
If you're hoping to afford players of Kane's caliber, a low-salary goalie like Pavelec is perfect going against an offense that ranks 27th in goals per game (2.2). If Michael Hutchinson does end up getting the start, he might be a nice bounce-back option at $6,500 despite allowing four goals in his last start.
