Oklahoma City Thunder rookie point guard Cameron Payne suffered a concussion on Jan. 27 against the Minnesota Timberwolves but is ready to return.

Royce Young of ESPN.com reported Payne has been cleared to play and is available against Washington.

Anthony Slater of the Oklahoman reported Payne "practiced some" during Sunday's session.

Payne's Return Will Add Depth at Guard Positions

Seeking depth at guard, the Thunder made Payne the 14th overall pick in June's draft. NBA.com praised the former Murray State star for his ability to shoot from three-point range and defend.

Payne's shooting touch was evident early in his career, though he has been used sparingly, playing behind Russell Westbrook and D.J. Augustin.
