Eddie Lacy, James Starks Post-Week 6 Fantasy Advice
Fantasy football owners who were relying on Eddie Lacy to carry their teams this year have been sorely disappointed. The third-year back out of Alabama who eclipsed 1,000 yards in each of his first two seasons has found the end zone only once this season while batting injuries.
His teammate, James Starks, was not expected to see the field much this year. Those who took a flier on him Sunday were happy. In a 27-20 victory against the San Diego Chargers, Starks had 112 yards on 10 carries. He also scored a touchdown on the ground and another through the air, his first two scores of the season.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Here is a look at the production from each back so far this season:
| Player | Carries | Yards | Rushing Touchdowns | Receptions | Receiving Yards | Receiving Touchdowns |
| Eddie Lacy | 67 | 260 | 1 | 9 | 83 | 0 |
| James Starks | 63 | 286 | 1 | 11 | 75 | 1 |
Lacy had only four carries for three yards against San Diego but will still be the featured back as long as he is healthy. However, his carries were limited Sunday because he was nursing a sore right ankle that has bothered him for most of the season, according to ESPN.com. Starks filled in well and will be a viable option on fantasy rosters if Lacy does not play.
Here's how they compared against San Diego:
| Name | Carries | Yards | Rushing Touchdowns | Receptions | Receiving Yards | Receiving Touchdowns |
| Eddie Lacy | 4 | 3 | 0 | 2 | 17 | 0 |
| James Starks | 10 | 112 | 1 | 1 | 5 | 1 |
It's too early to give up on Lacy, who was averaging nearly five yards per carry over the first four weeks of the season. There has been no official word on his short-term availability, so monitor his status as the next week progresses.

If you have Starks on your roster, hold on to him. Some ankle injuries can hinder a player's performance all year. He's also a sixth-year veteran who has filled in nicely for injured starters in the past, and despite starting just five games in his career, he has nearly 2,000 rushing yards and seven touchdowns to his name.
If you own Lacy and have not handcuffed your roster with Starks, there is some reason to worry. It's not enough to drop Lacy, but if he's not fully healthy, the Packers have already shown they are willing to give Starks the ball.
