Blue Jays vs. Royals Game 2: Live ALCS Score and Highlights
Much like they did in Game 4 of the ALDS, the Kansas City Royals pulled off an incredible comeback and put up five runs to stun the opposition on Saturday at Kauffman Stadium.
With Toronto’s David Price dealing, having not given up a hit since the leadoff batter in the bottom of the first, the Royals spun off six hits in the seventh inning to knock Price out of the game. Alex Gordon’s RBI double would prove to be the game-winning hit, as it put the Royals ahead 4-3 at the time, in a game the Royals would eventually go on to win 6-3.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
Though the troubled seventh inning was started with a miscue by second baseman Ryan Goins, who let a popup drop after calling for it, there’s no way Price can squander a three-run lead after dominating over the first six innings as he did. There are no excuses for an ace letting a team who looked dead in the water back into an enormous second game of a series.
The Royals will now carry a 2-0 series lead to Toronto, where the Blue Jays will be playing with their backs against the wall after squandering a late lead in Game 2.
Game 3 will be Monday night, with Royals ace Johnny Cueto scheduled to face youngster Marcus Stroman. It’s a must-win game for the Blue Jays, who can’t afford to fall behind 3-0 to the Royals in the ALCS.
Final: Royals 6 - 3 Blue Jays
